NIH Hanky Panky

Naughty, naughty. It is okay for screenwriters to rewrite, but not NIH officials.

"Dr Edmund Tramont, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Division of AIDS, rewrote a safety report on the use of the antiretroviral drug nevirapine in pregnant women in order to change its conclusions and remove negative information about the drug."

Wonder how often this kind of stuff happens? So do we.

FDA ON ITS DEATHBED?

Whistle blower is Dr. Mercola's new hero. Mine too.

"Dr. David Graham, associate director in the FDA's Office of Drug Safety, called the FDA's approval of arthritis drug Vioxx, "The single greatest drug safety catastrophe in the history of this country or the history of this world." Graham went on to cite the following statistic: A staggering 88,000 to 139,000 Americans suffered heart attacks and strokes as a result of taking Vioxx." For more fun details go to:

BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY FOR CHIROPRACTORS

BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHIROPRACTORS NATUROPATHS OSTEOPATHS ACCUPUNCTURISTS AND ALL ALTERNATIVE PRACTITIONERS
This is a win-win situation for both doctor and patient; a home oxygen sauna therapy for detox and cleansing as well as using 03 to kill pathogens at the same time. It is an extreemly competitive environment for any alternative therapists due to the fact that insurance does not always cover treatments because of the vested interest regulations that protect conventional allopathic medicine. Many good doctors of all disciplines are struggling now while the giant hydra of the pharmaceutical drug companies gets richer than any Columbian drug lord could imagine. Even orthodox M.D.s with all their prestige, status and apparent power are being forced to quit in large numbers because of tedius paperwork, red tape, malpractice insurance and having to work practically for free under some of the "governement" plans. So, again, here is one that looks very promising to begin; a home therapy involving hyperthermia and activated oxygen for detox and pathogen control. The patients gain because it is inexpensive and the doctor can make a little money. We need to help keep these alternative doctors in business!

SOOTHING MUSIC TO RELAX BY

Music can sooth the savage beast? Music affects us on a very deep, visceral level as every movie director knows. Try watching a suspense movie with the sound turned down and see how it loses that "edge".
Just so, there are musical pathways to relaxation and other "states" like self-esteem. Here is a new offering by a doctor. Check this out. In this fast paced "matrix' we all need something to help us unwind.

Free Books On Holistic Agriculture, Homesteading etc.

This looks to be a good resource to bookmark and refer to:

"This is a free public library offering full-text books about holistic agriculture, holistic health, self-sufficient homestead living, and personal development. Most of the titles in this library are out of print. Some of these books can be quite hard to find; many of them are old enough to be public domain materials. The library also offers a collection about why globalised society is resistant to changing its food and health systems."
